Recipe Alert!

The Captain's Carolina BBQ Sauce

  • 1 Gallon of Heinz Cider Vinegar
  • 4 oz. Light Brown Sugar
  • 4 oz. Black Pepper
  • 12 oz. Salt
  • 3 to 4 oz. of Crushed Red Pepper
  • Juice of 3 fresh Lemons
Combine all ingredients in large pot and bring to a boil. Remember to pour a little of the vinegar out to make room for the spices, etc. Boil for just a couple of minutes and let cool overnight in the fridge. Keeps a long time and is excellent for ribs, pork and chicken.
